=The anime starts on the night of Hatsumi Azuma's birthday.
A sweet, beautiful girl about to turn 16 at the strike of midnight.
Her younger sister by adoption, Hazuki enters her room,
she reflects upon the past events of the last few days as well as memories from their childhood together . . .
Spurred on by feelings that she doesn't always understand, but is very aware of,
Hazuki bends down to kiss her beloved sister.
Just before their kiss Hatsumi wakes up,
says Hazuki's name and
is engulfed in a pillar of green light . . . then disappears.

The Mystery is only just beginning . . . .

For those of you with a large format printer, Hazuki, life-sized (more or less).
Non of her measurements seemed to be available in any of the literature so  . . .
I interpolated this image figuring that she'd be about 160 centimeters or about 5'3", the result is a total image size of 169cm or 5'6" . . . there-abouts.
