This is a story of a guy who's luck is just plane-old BAD.

It seems that even when Goro Mutsumi was a kid his luck "sucked", as all the pets he ever had seemed to meet an untimely and rather tragic end.

Even later on in life things just didn't seem to go well . . . The company he was working for went under!

Because of my own personal relationship with "karma" I can sort of relate to his plight.

He had a fortune teller say he was surrounded by bad luck . . . soooo that sooth-sayer (of sorts) casts a spell on his cell phone and tells him that his bad luck is about to change.

The cell phone is a gateway from heaven for his unfortunate pets to help him . . . reincarnated, as pretty girls, to pay him back for his kindness to them when they were animals.

Bandai Entertainment has the license and the first series is out on DVDs

Having seen the second series (raw & fansubbed) before the first I was quite excited when the 1st series was licensed in North America . . . HOWEVER,
The first and last four episodes are like fingernails on a chalkboard. The second series was so much better than the first. They spent more time with the artwork & animation and the actual story was much better, unfortunately I doubt Bandai USA has the gonads to take a chance on the second season of what amounts to kind of a flop. We can always hope.
